Today, WWP is reminded of the anti-gay ballot measures in Oregon in the 1990s, when opinion polls indicated close but winnable races – and then the election results turned out to be much, much closer contests than any survey results had predicted. Seems the same thing may have happened in yesterday’s presidential primary in New Hampshire:
Voters in New Hampshire told pollsters one thing—that they were going to vote for Obama--and then in the secrecy of the ballot booth did something else.
