WWP is outta here for a few days, off to Idaho Falls for a rendezvous with a former pastor and family who recently relocated to the eastern edge of the Gem State. So, no posts for a few days.
Talking with Pastor B. today, it looks like WWP's dance card will be full: He's been assigned to read scripture on Sunday at both services, help with an interactive sermon, attend the all-church conference on Sunday afternoon, and meet with a parishioner on Monday morning -- to say nothing about being the "show Methodist" from the big gay city.
Just to leaven things a little, WWP is taking a copy of this new title to share with his new Idaho friends. Maybe we'll donate a copy to the local LDS library.
Sounds like you are going to have a wonderful time. I am looking forward to our family trip to Idaho next spring to go mushroom hunting. But the real reason I am writing, aside from wishing you a good journey, is about the book you mention, as it sounds as if you are in possession of a copy. On the "learn how to turn water into wine" -- does it show how that is done in the book, and are there grapes involved, because, in this case, I will be disappointed if there are grapes involved in the recipe. As you can imagine anyone might be, given the premise of the book.
