Here are three things Worldwide Pablo enjoys about living in Portland, Oregon:
1. The Portland Tribune.
2. Columnist Phil Stanford.
3. The Oregon Public Records Act.
Today, Portlanders are treated to vortex of these three indelible forces, providing just the comic relief WWP needed to start the day.
[And yes, Phil: She’s totally lost it. Can November arrive soon enough?]
I don't know if I can make it that long.....

Commissioner, as the only one on the council who lives east of the Williams-Sonoma line (39th) you represent a lot of people whose voices haven't been heard in City Hall for a while. As long as you hear their song, don't worry if someone else on the council is tone-deaf.

Thank-you, Isaac....I appreciate your nice comment as well....we have entered the "mean season" and I will be visiting these refreshing wells regularly....

You're welcome; you're the only commissioner I don't know, but I hope to remedy that soon.

To which, WWP can only add:
Getting to know you
Getting to know all about you.
Getting to like you
Getting to hope you like me.
Getting to know you
Putting it my way,
But nicely,
You are precisely
My cup of tea.
Getting to know you
Getting to feel free and easy
When I am with you
Getting to know what to say
Haven’t you noticed
Suddenly I’m bright and breezy?
Because of all the beautiful and new
Things I’m learning about you
Day
by
day.
