Parking rates at the the airport are going up. But air traffic at PDX is going down. Go figure.

Lufthansa traffic at PDX is down nearly 50 percent in one year.

That's not good news for the folks at Freightliner. Of course that whole mess has been a two-edged sword. It's been nice to have the flights, but it's just meant Daimler execs can get here quickly and cheaply while charging the whole thing to the FTL operation. Daimler gutted Chrysler and left the carcass to rot. They're just about done doing the same to Freightliner.
