How depressing. The day began with realization that Mr. Milquetoast With An Agenda appears headed for a lifetime appointment to the institution that the current reich seems hellbent in turning into a star chamber. Then came the ever-exhilarating news of more tax cuts for the wealthiest. [All in the name of "stimulating the economy," of course.] Naturally, it wouldn't be a trifecta without bodily control by government.
And then the final blow. Zounds!
I am so depressed. Are you sure you didn't mean 1954?

Well, we were thinking 1984, as in George Orwell. But 1954, as in Joseph McCarthy, works just as well, doesn't it?
