A photo is worth...

... how many words?

Fortunately, a few local bloggers have digital cameras, and they are willing to tell us the "word count" of today's historic gay marriage extravaganza in inner southeast Portland.

Here are some panoramic photos from Blue Hole, and then some "on the street" scenes from Strangechord/Smugmug.

A life recorded by photographs is a history that cannot be unetched from memory.

I wish I'd been braver and gotten faces and couples. Strangechord captures that much better.

Oh drat. I'd managed to go a whole day without misting up, but the Emerald pics got me again.
